About the event
Dennis Kelly is a Master Craftsman Photographer well known for his creative and exciting portraiture.
Duke Pham is a Professional Fashion and Editorial Photographer
Our model Skylar is a powerful and flexible dancer and gymnast majoring in dance movement therapy at Goucher College.
If you’ve never had the opportunity to photograph a trained dancer, you’re in for a treat.
Dennis Kelly and Duke Pham will explain some basic ballet positions and terminology, and explore dramatic lighting techniques. We will teach how to capture peak action, and how to freeze motion, or use blur to convey movement.
This is sure to be a fun and exciting workshop and will give you a good background in photographing dancers, and also some dynamite portfolio images.
Space is limited to 10, sign up today.
After the workshop, photographers have the opportunity to book to shoot private sessions (One On One) with the model/dancer Skylar for every 30 minutes (ticket sold separately)
Photographers need to bring your own DSLR/Mirrorless camera and lenses.
